ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISM

The people who show up, speak out, and refuse to look away

Environmental activism is the human conscience of the sustainability process  the force that holds institutions accountable, keeps ambition alive, and reminds the people in the rooms what is actually at stake outside them. I have photographed activists at the gates of global summits and inside them, in communities on the frontlines of environmental destruction, and in the spaces where people organise, grieve, and keep going.

These images are often described as the emotional side of the story. I’d push back on that. Activism is not sentiment it is strategy, sacrifice, and sustained commitment. What this work tries to show is the full picture: the anger and the hope, the confrontation and the quiet determination, and above all the people behind it.
